Stadium for all

Mr. Juhan Parts and his government of soccer players can't be serious about giving taxpayers' money to a private enterprise that has shown already it has failed to fill the white elephant stadium.

It generates next to no income from visiting teams after you take away the funding of extra police, who stand outside dressed in black, brandishing their clubs. In Latvia one can see the advantage with its wonderful European showing, but Estonia - never in a million years. The stadium should be used by all sports - e.g., rugby, which brings millions of EEK into Estonia every year. Horse jumping events, field hockey...the list goes on.
No longer can Estonia be a private country club for a few. Being EU members brings a new viewpoint to the party. Think again, Mr. Parts.
