Tet launches a renewed Videosher platform that allows various video content creators to upload, publish, edit, and manage video content, including ‘heavy’ files that require ultra-high image quality. The platform offers both video-on-demand (VoD) and live streaming features and also includes analytics and monetisation tools. The solution has already gained widespread popularity among Telia Latvija corporate clients, but now the platform is available to all users with the option to purchase a monthly or annual subscription using a payment card on the website of the service.
“The video platform is one of the media solutions that was added to Tet portfolio after the acquisition of Telia Latvija and we are delighted to have a world-class competitive tool in our product range that can be used by any video content creator and distributor, i.e. from individual video artists, vloggers, news and video content portals, learning platforms, advertising and creative agencies to international broadcasters,” says Māris Dreimanis, Tet Corporate Development Director.
The platform is built as a cloud service, thus providing virtually unlimited resources for content streaming, storage, and processing.
“Our first corporate, including international clients, such as FashionTV, Telia Play, Latvijas Televīzija, Tava klase and others, have been using the platform since 2014, and since then the number of clients has been constantly growing. This year we updated the user interface to make it more user-friendly, introduced several additional features, and created a convenient login and payment page. Now the process of getting the service will take only a few minutes,” says Norberts Osītis, Head of Solutions for Media at Tet. “Videosher can be easily integrated into the content creator’s website and allows not only quick video uploading, but also categorisation and management features. Preparation for publishing is automatic, i.e. the platform prepares video files in a variety of formats to give the end user the best viewing experience on any device. The platform also has a ‘trim’ or video trimming function to make short videos from a longer material. We also provide professional technical support to users, if needed.”
The platform is in English and a 14-day free trial period is available for Videosher in order to explore its functionality.
