Go-EOR has entered the employer-of-record market, offering foreign companies a way to hire employees in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia without the need to establish a local legal entity.
Launched on April 24 by regional outsourcing leader Baltic Assist, Go-EOR was built in direct response to a recurring challenge faced by international businesses: the gap between the desire to access talent in Central and Eastern Europe and the cost and complexity of setting up compliant operations in an unfamiliar jurisdiction.
What Go-EOR does
Go-EOR steps in as the legal employer, taking on the compliance responsibilities that would otherwise require a registered entity in each country. This covers the full employment lifecycle, including locally compliant contracts, payroll processing, tax administration, benefits, and terminations, while the client retains control over the employee's day-to-day work.
The service is available across three models: employer-of-record (EOR), agent-of-record (AOR), and professional employer organization (PEO), with pricing starting at €349 per month. The service lines are designed to accommodate both smaller companies taking their first steps in the region and larger organizations looking to scale teams already operating on the ground.
Regional depth over global reach
The EOR market has matured considerably over the past few years, with global platforms now offering remote hiring infrastructure spanning dozens of countries. Go-EOR is taking a different approach by focusing on local presence and country-specific expertise rather than simply expanding geographically.
That distinction is important in a region where employment regulations vary significantly across borders. For example, Poland’s labour laws are structured differently from those in Lithuania. Details like notice periods, benefit entitlements, and collective agreements can easily cause problems for companies used to just one set of rules.
Go-EOR's on-the-ground teams manage compliance within each country's specific legal context, rather than applying a standardized cross-border approach.
"Companies wanted access to Baltic and Polish talent but were held back by the complexity of setting up a local entity," said Andžej Rynkevič, CEO and co-founder of Go-EOR's parent company, Baltic Assist. "With this brand, we've packaged over a decade of regional expertise into a single point of contact that handles contracts, compliance, and payroll."
Why now
Interest in Central and Eastern European talent has grown steadily, particularly among technology, finance, and professional services firms based in Western Europe, Australia, and the United States of America. The region's combination of strong technical education, EU regulatory alignment, and lower employment costs relative to Western markets has made it an attractive option for companies looking to expand without a proportional increase in overhead.
For many, the compliance layer has remained the primary obstacle. Incorporating locally takes time, requires ongoing administrative effort, and often involves navigating labour codes with limited internal expertise. Go-EOR offers a way to remove that barrier, allowing companies to hire quickly and compliantly, without committing to a permanent local structure.
