MyCabin Starts the Year with a Breakthrough – Turnover More Than Doubles

  • 2025-05-29

Latvian manufacturer of sustainable housing MyCabin has begun 2025 with a strong breakthrough, laying a solid foundation for continued growth. In the first quarter of the year, the company reached a turnover of 1.16 million euros representing a 128% increase compared to the same period last year.

“We have started 2025 with strong growth, driven by our ability to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and fast-to-implement prefabricated housing solutions not only in Latvia but also across international markets. At a time when many parts of Europe are facing a housing shortage, customers are particularly appreciative of alternative solutions to traditional construction. At the same time, we have been actively working on improving the company's development strategy, which will soon include the launch of a new product across all our active markets,” said Ģirts Draugs, Founder and CEO of MyCabin.

The rapid growth has been driven mainly by the company’s deliberate work to build a professional management team and focus on consolidating its presence in Latvia and the broader Baltic region. Demand has increased significantly across all existing markets, demonstrating the growing interest and trust of customers in MyCabin products. One of the growth drivers has also been the development of an international team, which has allowed the company to expand and strengthen its presence in export markets, while outlining strong growth potential for the future. In parallel, MyCabin continues to explore new export opportunities, with results expected in the near future.

“In Estonia, we are seeing a rising demand for high-quality, thoughtfully designed, and fast-to-implement housing solutions. We often hear that people do not want to be involved in a long and complicated construction process or to go into technical details, so they prefer solutions that can be implemented without unnecessary stress. The presence and support of a professional team throughout the process is also particularly appreciated,” says Tarmo Mahmastol, MyCabin's representative in Estonia.

To further facilitate expansion into foreign markets, MyCabin has attracted funding of 250,000 euros from the development finance institution ALTUM. Attracted funds are already being invested in the production of demo homes, with the aim of deploying them in MyCabin’s strategically important markets. New demo houses are planned to be presented this summer in Poland and Finland, giving potential customers the opportunity to see MyCabin's prefabricated house solutions first-hand.

“ALTUM provides financing for various business development purposes, including support for innovative and export-oriented companies. One of them is MyCabin, which has already proven that with high-quality products and a strong team, it is possible to succeed not only in the local market but also to expand internationally. Recognising its growth potential, we are supporting the company's development while also contributing to the growth of Latvia’s economy,” says Daina Cinovica, Head of the Centre Region at ALTUM.
