MyCabin expands prefab home range and targets the Nordic market

MyCabin, a Latvian manufacturer of high-quality prefabricated homes, is launching three new ready-made home solutions — Living 80, Living 100, and Sauna 30, a sauna combined with a living area and loft. The company forecasts that these models will become a key driver of growth and export expansion in Europe in 2026.

“The new home types are our response to customer and market demand for high-quality, energy-efficient, well-designed, and quickly installable housing. This strategic step enables us to broaden our offer not only in the residential segment — providing larger yet still compact and functional homes for permanent living — but also in the tourism and leisure sector. At the same time, the new home solutions will strengthen our export capacity, expand MyCabin’s regional representation network across Europe, and create a solid foundation for growth in the coming years,” says Ģirts Draugs, Founder and CEO of MyCabin.

With these new models, MyCabin is strengthening its position not only in existing export markets — the Baltics, Germany, and Poland — but also signalling its ambition to expand into the Nordics, particularly Finland. The company sees strong potential in Finland, not only because of its deeply rooted sauna culture but also thanks to simplified building regulations for structures of up to 30 m², including saunas. Sauna 30 fits squarely within this category, making it especially attractive and easy to scale in the Finnish market.

“Finland has one of the strongest sauna markets in the world — with more than 3 million saunas for a population of 5.5 million. This fact alone demonstrates that there is clear space for new, high-quality sauna solutions. Sauna 30 has been designed to meet this demand — it is functional, quick to install, and versatile enough for both private and commercial use,” says Tiit Kremm, MyCabin’s representative in Finland.

At present, MyCabin’s production capacity is sufficient to meet current demand. However, as part of its long-term growth strategy, the company plans to increase capacity by at least 50%, enabling the successful scaling of the new MyCabin homes in international markets. In manufacturing, MyCabin continues to rely on proven methods, with a strong emphasis on quality standards and durability. All homes are factory-built in a controlled environment, ensuring precision, efficiency, and consistency at every stage of the production process.

Living 80 offers 66.1 m² of living space with three rooms, a bathroom, a spacious kitchen, and a living area, while Living 100 is an 81.3 m² home with four rooms and two bathrooms. Both models are already available for purchase in Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. Sauna 30 is a compact 35.3 m² ready-made sauna solution with a living area and loft. It can be produced in just two months and is quick to install, with an adjustable room layout. The sauna is available in all MyCabin’s active markets. More information about the new models is available on the company’s website ej.uz/mycabin-lv, or at open-door events.

By September 2025, the company had already exceeded its annual turnover target, reaching 4.7 million euros. The largest markets by sales volume in 2025 are Latvia and Estonia, followed by Germany and Lithuania. Germany is also currently showing faster growth than Lithuania, highlighting MyCabin’s ability to strengthen its position in Europe’s major markets. Sales data indicate that the Latvian market accounts for 40% of total sales, while export markets represent 60%, underscoring the importance of exports to the company’s growth.
