RIGA - MP Glorija Grevcova (Stability) accused of providing false information to the Central Election Commission (CVK) does not admit her guilt.

The Riga City Court held a second hearing in Grevcova's criminal case.

Grevcova's lawyer asked to add some documents to the case. One document is related with CVK reply of October 26, 2022, to Stability's chairman Aleksejs Roslikovs, refusing to make corrections in the data already submitted by Grevcova.

Grevcova said at the court that she understands the accusation, but does not admit her guilt. She said that she is a famous blogger and does not need to pretend to be someone else, lie about her job and education.

"When I was asked to sign the documents to be submitted to CVK, I signed them, I did not have any reason to look for inaccurate information in them," said Grevcova, adding that journalists have been deceived about the whole case from the very beginning.

As reported, the State Police launched a criminal case against the newly elected Saeima member Grevcova for providing false information about her job and education to the Central Election Commission.
