Lithuanian Presidential Palace to host meeting on cyber attacks, parlt session, energy

VILNIUS – Lithuania's President's Palace will on Monday host a meeting on cyber attacks, Lithuania's potential to contribute to alternative gas supply to Europe and other issues.

The meeting will be attended by President Gitanas Nauseda, Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte, Seimas Speaker Viktorija Cmilyte-Nielsen and "representatives of other state institutions", presidential spokesman Ridas Jasiulionis told BNS.

In his words, the participants of the inter-institutional meeting will discuss "the priorities of the Seimas' extraordinary session, readiness to counter cyber attacks on Lithuanian companies and institutions, possible suspension of Russian gas supply to Europe and Lithuania's possibilities to contribute to alternative gas supply".

Also, the participants will be briefed on the interim results of the government's talks with the European Commission on the sanctions for Russia.
