VILNIUS - Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda on Thursday called Russia's latest air attack on Ukraine "horrific" and stated that Russia’s terror "will not break us".
"Appalled by Russia’s massive strike on Kyiv last night," he said in an X post.
"Russia’s terror will not break us. We stand firmly with Ukraine and its people," he added.
Russia bombarded the Ukrainian capital with drones and missiles early Thursday, including a rare strike in the city center, killing at least 14 people and wounding 48, local authorities said.
The overnight barrage damaged the European Union’s (EU) delegation offices in Kyiv. The British Council also said its premises had been "severely damaged".
Ukrainian officials said the overnight bombardments were the second largest of the entire war. According to Ukraine's air force, Moscow fired 629 drones and missiles.
