VILNIUS – Remigijus Morkevicius, a well-known Lithuanian mixed martial artist and kickboxer, was found shot to death in Kaunas on Wednesday night, the police said.
Kaunas police received a report at 8:20 p.m. that a man's body had been found near an apartment block in Baltu Avenue in Lithuania' second-biggest city.
“There was more than one shot wound. I cannot give any more details at this point. A pre-trial investigation into the murder has been launched,” Kaunas County Police Chief Darius Zukauskas told BNS.
