RIGA - The Latvian football team has stayed put in the latest FIFA rankings, and is currently ranked 137th in the world, according to the rankings published on Thursday.
The Latvian team played its last official match in November, when it concluded its EURO 2020 qualification campaign with a 1:0 win over Austria.
Latvia will play its next official match on March 26 against Montenegro.
Meanwhile, Lithuania is currently ranked 131st in the world, while Estonia is ranked 104th.
Latvia's best ever FIFA ranking was in 2009, when it was ranked 45th, but lowest ever ranking - 148th in 2017.
Belgium is ranked first in the world, followed by France, Brazil, England, Uruguay, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Argentina and Colombia.
