Officers from the Latvian armed forces have joined soldiers from the United States, Lithuania, Canada and the UK in the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine.
The group provides training to Ukraine's regular armed forces, BNS was told at the Latvian Defense Ministry.
A total of 24 instructors from Ukraine's 184th training center will take part in the first Latvian-led military training course, which will start on Monday, March 14.
