RIGA - Latvia’s professional armed forces plan to recruit up to 710 soldiers in 2019, LETA was told at the Defense Ministry’s press office.
A total of 640 soldiers were recruited in the outgoing year, which is the highest number since 2007 when the National Armed Forces switched to professional military service.
