Latvia through to quarterfinals at Women's World Floorball Championship

NEUCHATEL (Switzerland) - Latvian women's national floorball team defeated Norway 6:4 (1:2, 3:1, 2:1) to advance to the Women's World Floorball Championship's quarterfinal round in Switzerland on Wednesday.

In the quarterfinals, Latvia will play Switzerland tomorrow.

This is the 12th World Championship in a row where Latvia makes it to the quarterfinals.

Laura Gaugere and Simona Grapena each had two goals for Latvia today, while Elizabete Pavlovska and Julija Rozite added one goal apiece.
