Latvia receives 2,399 reports on possible side effects of Covid-19 vaccines

RIGA - Until October 31, Latvia has received 2,399 reported on possible side effects of Covid-19 vaccine, LETA learned from the State Agency of Medicines (ZVA) spokeswoman Tanita Tamme-Zvejniece.

Most often ZVA received reported on side effects already mentioned as body reaction in the vaccine instructions, such as pain at the location of the vaccination, fever and tiredness.

Of all reports, 545 have been classified as significant reports of Covid-19 vaccine side effects. It means that in these cases hospitalization had been necessary or a medic considered this a serious side effect.

There have been no reports on any deaths following a Covd-19 vaccine.
