ASSEN (Netherlands) - Latvian motocross team, made up of Pauls Jonass, Toms Macuks and Davis Ivanovs, placed eighth at the FIM Motocross of Nations in the Netherlands on Sunday.
This is Latvia's all-time best at the Motocross World Championships.
The Dutch team of Glenn Coldenhoff, Jeffrey Herlings and Calvin Vlaanderen won the race with 18 points, Belgium placed second with 47 points and Great Britain was third with 58 points.
Team Estonia finished in fourth place with 64 points, while Latvia placed eighth with 73 points.
