Latvia continues to see a drop in the number of medics working in the country, falling its lowest level in the past six years, according to statistics from the Center for Disease Prevention and Control. Over the past six years, the number of medics working in the country has fallen by approximately six percent, and this trend has had a tendency of increasing each year. According to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control, in 2014, 2015 and 2016 there was an annual reduction of medics by about one percent, in 2017 this grew to about 1.3 percent, but last year - almos...
