Kibermanis opens new Bobsleigh World Cup season with 4th place finish

LAKE PLACID (United States) - In the opening Bobsleigh World Cup stage of the season on Saturday, Latvia's Oskars Kibermanis and Matiss Miknis finished in overall 4th place in the two-man competition.

Meanwhile, the Latvia-2 bob team piloted by Ralfs Berzins finished in overall 18th position.

Germany's Johannes Lochner won the stage, followed by Germany's Francesco Friedrich and Canada's Justin Kripps in third.

Today, there will be another two-man competition at the Lake Placid track, and the Skeleton World Cup will also commence. These competition will be broadcast live on LTV7.
