International adoption makes for a stronger Latvia

Latvia should be for Latvians.  Allowing international adoption of orphaned Latvian children actually helps that to take place. I am an American, proud adoptive parent of a 17-year-old young man from Latvia who will be 18 years old in two months.  Being his father, and parent along with my wife, has been the greatest honor of my life.  Being his father has also taught me many things about international adoption.
