If situation with pandemic does not change, airBaltic might run out of money in September 2021

RIGA - If the situation with travel restrictions and the overall spread of Covid-19 in Europe remains unchanged, Latvia's airBaltic national carrier might run out of money in September 2021, the company's CEO Martin Gauss told the Saeima Public Expenditure and Audit Committee.  The airline currently has EUR 184 million at its disposal and is suffering an estimated loss of EUR 3.5 million per week.  Gauss voiced hope that the situation will improve by the spring and that in the summer airBaltic might restart flights in a similar amount ...
