RIGA - The board of the Latvian Green Party is proposing that the party's council consider nominating party's co-chairman Viesturs Silenieks as the Union of Greens and Farmers' candidate for Riga mayor, according to unofficial information.
If the Green Party's council at its January 13 meeting supports nominating Silenieks for the mayor of Riga, his candidacy will be then discussed by the Greens/Farmers' board.
