Google ups Lithuanian company's capital by almost EUR 2.4 mln

VILNIUS – American internet giant Google increased the capital of its Lithuanian company, Google Payment Lithuania, set up in October, from 2,500 to 2.368 million euros.

According to information from the Lithuanian Center of Registers, the decision was made on Dec. 11, and the new version of the company's statute with an increased share capital was registered on Dec. 19.

The US-registered Google International LLC is the sole shareholder of Google Payment Lithuania which plans to provide payment and other financial services, although it has not received a license for that from the Lithuania's central bank, the Bank of Lithuania, yet.
