RIGA - The gate at the home of pro-Russian European Parliament Member (MEP) Tatjana Zdanoka (Latvian Union of Russians) in the village of Garciems has been painted on the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
MP Artuss Kaimins posted a picture of the painted gate outside Zdanoka's home on his Twitter account yesterday.
Meanwhile, the State Police confirmed to LETA that they have received information about the incident, but that the person involved did not wish to begin a criminal process, which is why the decision was made not to launch a criminal process.
As reported, Zdanoka was one of the few MEPs who in March did not support an EP resolution against Russia's aggression in Ukraine and strengthening sanctions against Russia.
