Fuel prices in the Baltics mostly decreased over the week

TALLINN - A Friday price comparison by Circle K in the Baltic capitals reveals that fuel prices fell over the week in Tallinn and Vilnius, while moving in different directions in Riga.

In Tallinn, the price of 95 miles gasoline dropped by 7 cents over the week, 98 miles plus gasoline by 9.5 cents, and diesel fuel by 3 cents. In Riga, gasoline cost 1 cent less than last Friday, while diesel became 10 cents more expensive. In Vilnius, gasoline prices fell by 8.5 cents and the price of diesel by 9.5 cents.

On Friday, 95 miles gasoline cost 1.749 euros in the Estonian capital, which was 10.5 cents less than in Riga but 1 cent more than in Vilnius. The price of 98 miles plus gasoline in Tallinn was 1.824 euros, making it 10 cents cheaper than in Riga and 1.4 cents lower than in Vilnius.

The price of diesel fuel in Tallinn was 2.089 euros, which was 5.5 cents less than in Riga and 8 cents cheaper than in Vilnius.
