Free tickets to Song and Dance Festival to be handed out to families with children

RIGA - The Environmental Protection and Regional Development Ministry will hand out 2,000 free tickets to upcoming concerts of the XXVI Song and Dance Festival to large families with children, LETA was informed by ministry spokeswoman Anda Zalepska.

She said that over 1,600 ticket to various Song and Dance Festival concerts have already been given out, with the rest given out next week.

Latvia’s XXVI Song and XVI Dance Celebration will take place in Riga from June 30 to July 8. This year’s festival is dedicated to the centenary of the Republic of Latvia.
