Foreign designers at the 30th RIGA FASHION WEEK

RIGA - This spring RIGA FASHION WEEK will be held from 26–30 March. The main RIGA FASHION WEEK organizer – Baltic Fashion Federation – has announced foreign designers who will present their 2019/2020 autumn-winter collections in the Baltics’ most prestigious fashion event.

Foreign designers that are already well-known to the Latvian public will take part in the 30th RIGA FASHION WEEK: Diana Arno (Estonia), Morfosis (Italy) and Agnė Kuzmickaitė (Lithuania).

Brands’ Diana Arno clothing is known for having feminine and romantic vibration features, which are important for every woman living in a world ruled by men. Diana Arno collections are designed with keeping in mind womens’ daily routines – starting with morning coffee, work day and fun afterwards. This brands’ clothing will help women to adjust for the relevant event to make their casual daily flow unforgettable.

Italian brand Morfosis invites women to use their wardrobe as a way of expression. Morfosis designer Alessandra Cappiello and her team make exquisite pret-a-porter collections, which are known for their carefully made details, specially selected fabrics and flawless Italian craftsman hand work. One of the most important achievements for the brand is a successful participation in the fashion designer competition “Who’s on next”, which is organized by Vogue Italia in partnership with Alta Roma. Morfosis has demonstrated their collections in such fashion capitals as Rome, Milan, Paris, Tokyo and also in Riga.

Agnė Kuzmickaitė is one of the most famous Lithuanian fashion designers. The designer regularly presents her collections in fashion shows in Lithuania, as well as in events in Paris, Berlin and Riga, as a part of these cities’ fashion weeks. Every season the designer presents a new collection “for an everyday princess” – a woman who plays many different roles in society and searches for the best way on how to combine her duties with her own wishes. Such world fashion magazines as Vogue, Marie Claire, ELLE and L’Officiel have written articles about Agnė Kuzmickaitė.

The recently opened fashion design store Soyka Secret Garden will present Georgian brands such as Yuliko Kazandadze and Anna Miminoshvilli, Janelidze bags and Foms accessories, as well as the Ukrainian underwear brand Zhilyova Lingerie.

Alongside foreign designers there will also be shown 2019/2020 autumn-winter collections of  best Latvian fashion designers. In the 30th RIGA FASHION WEEK there will participate such Latvian brands as Natalija Jansone, One Wolf, NARCISS by Alise Trautmane, Katya Katya London, Amoralle, BLCV by Bulichev, Public Makes Image and Bergs Privé. After a longer period of absence from RIGA FASHION WEEK catwalk designers like Anna Led and Baiba Ladiga will return. While fashion designer Iveta Vecmane will participate for first time in RIGA FASHION WEEK. Noname Atelier and Ameri will also participate with their latest collection presentations. Traditionally RIGA FASHION WEEK will also present kidswear brands, one of them –  meritorious Aristocrat Kids, as well as Zaza Couture and the new Latvian kidswear brand Rock and Mouse.

2019/2020 autumn-winter RIGA FASHION WEEK will take place from the 26 to 30 March.
