FK Riga through to final UEFA Europa League qualification round

HELSINKI - On Thursday, Latvian football club FK Riga played a 2:2 draw at Finnish football club Helsinki HJK in a second-leg UEFA Europa League third qualification round qualifier.

Thus, the score on aggregate between the two clubs ended 3:3, with Riga advancing to the final qualification round due to the away goals rule.

The Latvian club was able to battle back after going down 0:1 and 1:2 during yesterday's match.

Ukrainian forward Roman Debelko scored both goals for the Latvian club.

FK Riga will now take on Danish club Kobenhavn in the fourth and final qualification round. The winner on aggregate will qualify for the group stage of this season's UEFA Europa League.
