FK Riga fails to qualify for UEFA Europa League

RIGA - In a second-leg UEFA Europa League fourth qualification round qualifier on Thursday, Latvian football club FK Riga defeated Danish football club Kobenhavn 1:0.

However, the Latvian club lost on aggregate 2:3 and thus Kobenhavn has adavanced to the group stage of this season's UEFA Europa League.

Felipe Brisola scored the lone goal of the match for the Latvian club in the 75th minute.

As reported, in the first-leg match in Copenhagen last week, Kobenhavn defeated FK Riga 3:1.
