TALLINN – The Padise Equestrian Center in Estonia is hosting the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses from Thursday, Aug. 10, until Monday, Aug. 14.
This is the first time in equestrian history that the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses is being held in northern Europe.
Estonia was chosen to host the upcoming World Championship after a long bidding process that began in 2019. With a decision made in 2021, Estonia was granted the right to organize the 2023 FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses.
The venue, the Padise Equestrian Center, has received worldwide recognition for its permanent infrastructure and is one of the few permanent endurance equestrian centers in Europe. The endurance riding competition course goes through the forest and is designed to vary the speed while also testing the riders' skills. Estonian racetracks are also known for their technical races, which prioritize the well-being of the horses.
Ahead the World Championship, the organizers of the event opened the official website padise2023.com, where people can find the schedule and details of the competition as the event approaches. Visitors to the site can also familiarize themselves with the equestrian sports center, including the technical details of the track and the field.
