TALLINN - Late in the evening on Aug. 30, an explosion was heard in the Kopli region of Estonia’s capital. A shell from World War Two went off during soil sieving.  Shortly thereafter, the alarm centre was informed of the incident on Marati Street. The centre determined that the shell detonated due to being crushed in a soil excavation machine.  The Rescue Board of Estonia has reported that there were no injuries from the explosion.
