TALLINN - European Space Agency astronaut Matthias Maurer is to arrive in Estonia on Monday and provide an overview of his experience at the International Space Station on Tuesday as part of a space festival in Telliskivi Creative City in Tallinn.
This will be the first official visit of a European Space Agency astronaut to Estonia.
Maurer will arrive in Tallinn to take part in a space festival "100 km kosmosest" (100 kilometers from space") scheduled to take place in Telliskivi Creative City on Tuesday. The astronaut will participate in the festival program and give a presentation on his experience at the International Space Station. Maurer spent six months in space and returned to Earth on May 6.
The festival welcomes all visitors and is free of charge for everybody.
