EUR 90,000 worth of jewelry stolen from shopping center via roof hatch

TALLINN – Last week, thieves broke into a shopping center in the northeastern Estonian border town of Narva through a roof hatch and stole 90,000 euros worth of jewelry and cash.

On Friday, Jan. 7, a shopping center on Tallinn Road in Narva was broken into through a roof hatch and jewelry and cash were stolen from a safe, spokespeople for the East Prefecture of the Police and Border Guard Board said. The initial damage caused by the theft is 90,000 euros.

The details of what happened will be clarified by the police in the criminal proceedings launched.
