TALLINN - Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas recognized French President Francois Hollande for maintaining the European Union's decision-making capability and presented the French head of state, who is participating in a meeting of the European Council for the last time, with a photograph of the French troops stationed at Tapa.

Ratas thanked France for ensuring the security of both Europe and Estonia, a telling example of which is the participation of French troops in the NATO battle group stationed at Tapa, spokespeople for the government told BNS on Saturday.

The prime minister presented Hollande with a photo of the French troops taken at Tapa as a memento.
