TALLINN - Ukraine needs to have a clear path towards NATO membership, according to Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas.
Kallas said that serious work is currently underway among allies to agree on the wording.
"There must be a clear path towards NATO membership, and in this regard there are stronger supporters as well as those who see risks in this matter," she said at the government press briefing on Thursday.
The prime minister declined to disclose the specific wording supported by Estonia, noting that it is delicate diplomatic work that cannot be conducted through the media.
