Estonian govt decides to release 20 people from citizenship

TALLINN - The government on Thursday decided to restore the Estonian citizenship of one person and release 20 people from Estonian citizenship.

Interior Minister Andres Anvelt made a proposal to the government to restore the Estonian citizenship of a person who lost it as a minor on the condition that they are released from their current citizenship, government spokespeople told BNS.

At the same time, Anvelt proposed to release 20 people from Estonian citizenship in relation to being granted the citizenship of the country of residence.
