TALLINN - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian colleague Andrii Sybiha on Thursday, during which he underlined Estonia’s unwavering support to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

"Estonia’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is unwavering," Tsahkna said in the phone call.

He emphasized that a just and lasting peace can only by achieved from a position of strength and when Ukraine has credible and working security guarantees.

"Ukraine’s right to choose alliances is non-negotiable. Ukraine’s future is in NATO," the minister said.

"Now is the moment when we need to apply political and economic pressure to make Putin change his aims. This means ramping up sanctions and using Russia’s frozen assets. At the same time, military support to Ukraine must continue," Tsahkna said.
