TALLINN - Marina Kaljurand, who is resigning from her position of Estonian foreign minister to run for president, in a statement today asked for support from electors and provided her motivation for the decision to seek office.
Kaljurand said in the statement that she hopes to be backed by electors in her presidential bid. "I considered this for the past week and during that time have received so much support," Kaljurand remarked, adding that among those willing to nominate her in the electoral college were also members of the electoral college.
