The financial literacy of Estonian consumers in Estonia is among the highest in Europe, a survey carried out by credit management services company Intrum shows.
The three Baltic states meanwhile have seen the most impressive growth in financial literacy in Europe during the past year, Intrum announced on March 26. The ability of consumers in all three countries to understand financial terms has improved, whereas consumers in Lithuania were best able to calculate the annual rate of growth on a hypothetical savings account.
