The Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications has developed an amendment to the regulation concerning flight restrictions, with which it will set restrictions on the flying of drones, or unmanned aircraft. As a result of drones becoming consumer goods, the number of incidents registered above objects concerning the security and internal security field and in their immediate vicinity have increased in recent years.
