Estonia to increase volume of language lessons for refugees

TALLINN - While currently refugees brought to Estonia under the EU's migrant relocation programme are expected to receive 100 hours of Estonian language lessons, the state is willing to boost the number of lessons. Triin Raag, head of international protection policy at the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs, informed BNS on Tuesday that every refugee who comes to Estonia under the EU migrant distribution plan will learn 100 hundred hours of the national language.
