Estonia's Tanak, Jarveoja widen lead after first speed test at WRC Rally Germany Saturday

TALLINN - Estonians Ott Tanak and Martin Jarveoja, driving a Toyota Yaris for Toyota Gazoo Racing, won the first speed test at Adac Rallye Deutschland on Saturday morning, widening their lead over runner-up Thierry Neuville to 6.7 seconds.

Tanak and Jarveoja ended the first day of Rally Germany on Friday ahead of Hyundai's Neuville and Nicolas Gilsouli by 2.8 seconds and outraced ruling world champion Sebastien Ogier with Julien Ingrassia as co-pilot for Citroen C3 WRC by 22.1 seconds.
