TALLINN - Estonia's Minister of Education and Research Kristina Kallas is on a visit to Harju County on Tuesday, visiting Nissi School, the Paldiski Russian Basic School, and Keila School, and meeting with the education leaders of West-Harju municipality and Keila city.
The minister wants to get an overview of the current education issues in the region, spokespeople for the ministry said.
"One of the topics of the meetings is definitely the transition to Estonian-language schooling. I would like to listen to the suggestions and thoughts of local education leaders, how the preparations are going and what kind of support is most needed," the minister said.
