Estonia's Office of the Prosecutor General has not closed the criminal probe of businessman Alexander Kofkin who is suspected in the corruption case of Tallinn Mayor Edgar Savisaar.
A spokesperson for the Office of the Prosecutor General, Kristina Kostina, verified to BNS this evening that the criminal case is still open.
Kofkin's defense attorneys, Aivar Pilv and Marko Pilv, determined that in spite of surveillance activities no evidence has been uncovered which confirms that Kofkin committed an offense.
