Head of the adoption center Oma Pere, Inna Klaos, said that there are 250 people in Estonia waiting in line to adopt a child and the average family who wants to adopt a child is between ages 35-45. On average, people wait in line to adopt a child for two to three years. "At present a home is found quickly for five- to seven-year-olds," Klaos said. She added that the situation of eight-year-old or older children is more complicated.
