Eiduka wins title of Latvia's best female athlete, and Briedis - best male athlete in 2020

RIGA - Distance skier Patricija Eiduka has been announced Latvia's best female athlete, and boxer Mairis Briedis - best male athlete during the Three Stars Award 2020 ceremony on Friday.

Briedis defeated Yuniel Dorticos from Cuba in the World Boxing Super Series final and claimed the IBF cruiserweight title and the Ring title.

Distance skier Eiduka won the fourth place at the world junior championship.

The title of the best paralympic athlete has been awarded to Polina Rozkova who got Latvia's wheelchair curling team to the Beijing Paralympic Games.
