Dons to represent Latvia at this year's Eurovision

RIGA - Singer Dons will represent Latvia at this year's Eurovision song contest in Sweden, who won Latvian Television's annual Supernova song contest last night.

Dons, with his song Hollow, won both the fan vote as well as the jury vote.

The duet Vestules finished in second place, while singer Katrina Gupalo finished in third place.

Dons will perform at the 68th Eurovision Song Contest's second semifinal on May 9.

The second semifinal will also feature the musical entries from Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland.

This year's Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Swedish city of Malmo on May 11.
