RIGA - Dismantling of sculptures commemorating Soviet soldiers in Riga's Pardaugava, which were taken down this past August, has been completed, dismantling of these sculptures' pedestals has also been completed.
As reported, Future Park will be built in place of the monument as a short-term solution, where children and young people will play sports, there will also be a skate park.
The largest Soviet monument in the Baltics, the Pardaugava memorial in Riga, was dismantled on August 25.
