Bertans scores nine points in win over Pistons

WASHINGTON DC - In NBA action on Monday, Latvian forward Davis Bertans scored nine points, as his Washington Wizards defeated the Detroit Pistons 115:99.

Bertans also pulled down one rebound, blocked one shot and made one steal.

Bradley Beal led the scoring for the Wizards with 22 points, five rebounds and six assists.

Luke Kennard was the top scorer for the Pistons with 22 points.

In the NBA's Eastern Conference standings at the moment, the Wizards are in 13th place with two wins and four losses.

Up next for the Wizards - a road game on Thursday at the Indiana Pacers.
