Baltics commemorate 75th anniversary of 1941 Soviet deportations

Memorial events to mark the 75th anniversary of the first Soviet-era mass deportation were held across the Baltics on Tuesday, June 14, with the national flags flown at half-staff. A memorial ceremony and service began at noon at the monument to the victory in the War of Independence in Tallinn.
