The culture ministers of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have signed an agreement to regularly translate and publish literature by Baltic authors.
“The memorandum is an agreement to have works by Baltic authors continuously translated [...] in all the three countries,” Lithuania’s Culture Minister Mindaugas Kvietkauskas told reporters on July 24.
Under the programme, the works awarded the annual Baltic Assembly Prize for Literature will be translated and published in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
