Baltic states agree to step up translation of each other’s literature

The culture ministers of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have signed an agreement to regularly translate and publish literature by Baltic authors. “The memorandum is an agreement to have works by Baltic authors continuously translated [...] in all the three countries,” Lithuania’s Culture Minister Mindaugas Kvietkauskas told reporters on July 24.
