ATTA CENTRE, the largest conference centre in the Baltics, has been holding events on its premises since the end of August, taking into account all necessary precautions. To ensure the safety of the guests, the ATTA CLEAN internal self- monitoring protocol has been developed. The programme includes initiatives implemented at the world’s leading congress halls.

The purpose of the protocol is to provide the guests of ATTA CENTRE with information about how the centre has been adapted to the new conditions and how it will continue to function after the end of the pandemic.

“The safety of ATTA CENTRE guests is paramount, so we are responsible for assessing the situation and making our own decisions. The ATTA CLEAN programme is based on information provided by the World Health Organization, Ministry of Health and the State Employment Agency. The document is being adapted in accordance with legislative changes and new solutions,” says Jānis Astahovs, General Manager of ATTA CENTRE.

Thus, a number of initiatives have been added to the life of the centre. Traffic flows are organized in such a way as not to form crowds of people in one place. For the same purpose, rope barriers at the entrance and markers of a safe distance from 1 to 2 meters have been installed. Legal notices and information on Covid-19 have been posted in multiple languages throughout the centre to alert the guests about the rules for visiting the ATTA CENTRE.

Taking into account the sanitary standards, a public hand disinfection centre has been installed with free masks, gloves and sanitizers. Measures for disinfecting surfaces, points of contact and lifts have been increased.

“As for the air conditioning of the premises, we have made sure the air filters are cleaned more frequently and we have also increased the overall ventilation level of the air conditioning systems. All stationery that is used at the conferences is given away to the guests or disposed of after the event,” adds Jānis.”

Due to the wide technical capabilities of ATTA CENTRE, it is possible to hold a variety of events here: exhibitions, conferences, banquets, as well as cultural, art and sports events. The high-tech multi-modal system allows to change the layout of the entire first floor without the loss of the sound insulation quality. The total area of the centre is 22,700 sq. metres.
